Don’t say you’ve forgotten already I only mentioned it a short time ago.
My GRANDDAUGHTERS are a’coming.
They will be arriving sometime Thursday as it’s birthday time. And who is having a birthday?
Why the War Office of course, but not just any old birthday this is the 70th 🎂🎈🎉 🎈🎂 🎉 🎂🎈 🎉🎂🎈. that’s on Saturday the 8th.

They, the children and their mummy, will not be staying long; they’re heading back north on Tuesday. Why? As I said; it’s birthday time. On Wednesday the 12th, it’s their daddy’s birthday, but I doubt they’ll be celebrating that very much as it also happens to be a young lady by the name of Poppy May’s birthday too.
Yes, Poppy May will be all of 3 years old, and she is having a big party, with her new friends and farmyard animals so I’ve been informed.
This party is going to be held on the Friday the 14th, and there is a distinct possibility that the War Office will be flying up there too. Can I be that lucky? Should I buy a lottery ticket?
On Thursday my son Nathan Sebastian will be celebrating his birthday, so I shall be cooking him a lasagne, he prefers that to cake, which reminds me I’ll have to make the W.O. some muffins or friands
And I’m all prepared for our Ruby Alice,! Pancakes galore, a plentiful supply of blueberries, bananas and ice-cream, real maple syrup and buttermilk, she will be in her seventh heaven, she loves my pancakes; they don’t come out of a container that you shake up and pour.
My Ruby loves to eat, she’s great when it comes to eating!
You are clearly quite a cook

Jollity all round. You are living dangerously with that remark about The War Office, talking of (to) whom, Happy 70th for the 8th!
Your Kerry reminds me a bit of our Kerryn. Something about them, more than the names, seem similar.

Life without danger is not worth the effort, at least I hope so.
Thought I’d better use an old picture; taken over 40 years ago, rather than one that’s up to date, better to be a live coward than a dead hero ; who knows she may visit and read this 🙂

Sounds like you’ll be having a wonderful and busy December, Beari! The 12th was also my father Smitty’s birthday, he would have been 104. Have a terrific time!!

Your a bit like me it seems GP, every 4th March I think of my dad and he will be …. ; and next year it’ll be 113.
Busy and exhausting GP no two ways about that. 😀

Those pancakes come from McDonalds! Look at the evidence!

Mine don’t,
I didn’t know MacDonalds made and served pancakes. I’d imagine if they did they’d be of the shake pour cook and served variety.
I learned to make pancakes. well crepes actually, at a very young age so pancakes was a natural progression. My children used to get great delight when I’d toss them from the pan; haven’t tried doing that for a while ….

Your picture is outside of McDonalds!!!
Actually, I confess that I like McDonalds breakfasts!

The bacon & egg Mcmuffin is edible, but the sausage, damned if I can work out what the sausage is, probably a big slab of Bologna sausage warmed up. I could probably scoff one day every morning for breakfast, they’re just my size, one would fill me up for the morning.
Emma doesn’t take the girls there anymore, she’s gone vegan and the girls have to suffer too.

I have always been curious about the bacon but I do like the sausage. Going vegan is too extreme for me!

It all sounds wonderful, but I confess a little voice kept reminding me how much weight I’d gain with all that delicious food around!

The last lasagna I had in a restaurant had practically no bechamel sauce!!!!
What a scrumptious few days you are about to enjoy, both with a surfeit of food, and a surfeit of family. Happy birthday to WO, and also to all those that will be celebrating in the coming weeks. How cute will Poppy May be! Three years old xxxxx

Got to have a good bechamel, no point going to half measures when cooking.
Don’t know about scrumptious, plenty of work and everyonergetting in my way 😈

Sounds like all your own birthdays have come at once this week! This is brilliant Brian, all your family, little one and big ones, wonderful! I like the sound of all the food too.
December is a busy birthday month here too, well, from end of November. We’ve just had a third birthday for little William, Evie is four tomorrow and one of my daughters has a birthday on the 19th.
