You may recall that a month ago I had to go see Michelle, my dietitian, and she was somewhat distraught at my weight loss; and that I had to start fattening myself up quick smart with my ‘pig pills’ and get back to her today.
Well today I weighed in 1.85kg heavier and she was delighted, so much so that she agreed to a selfie with me and of course Susan who came along as always to check up and keep an eye on me. XD

Been there, done that. Lost 20-30 lbs last year and was delighted. Bought several new pairs of smaller slacks. Wore them only once or twice before all the weight was back. So discouraging. That weight loss was the one good thing that came out of last year.

I think I’ll have more luck than you there PT, there’s no way that I can ever put back the 23 kg (51 lbs) that I lost, I would like to get to 70 kg (154 lbs) just to see a bit more flesh instead of bones covered by floppy skin

Glad you are starting to fatten up. Cookies and Nutella are my secret, and now Malasadas and Loco Mocos. Although, I don’t have anyone who is happy when I gain weight.

What’s worrying me is how many pigs they’re having to slaughter to keep me supplied with my ‘Pig Pills’. I’m also having to eat a great deal more bacon to stop a glut on the market, good job I love eating bacon, never tire of the small of it cooking or th pleasure of it’s eating, that’s one thing that never deserted me after being rendered gutless.
What does make me wonder is the ‘Pic Pills’; would a Jew be allowed to take them if after being rendered, to help keep the weight on? Drastic weight loss is par for the course when disemstomached – sort of new word of my own choosing, 🙂 unless you can come up with something more appropriate I’m stuck with it! 🙂

Certainly not an expert, but it’s my understanding the Jewish faith is often more accommodating than others. That is, unless one is at the fringes of it. But, that’s the case with any faith.
Disemstomached sounds pretty good to me, but I don’t ever want to hear you give me grief for making up my own words.

I’m really pleased too, XD instead of bi-monthly visits Michelle has put me on tri-monthly visits she’s very pleased with me and was all smiles as you can see from the photo. 🙂

I agree with the comments above regarding your smile! It’s fabulous–as is the color of your white hair. The photo is picture perfect. It catches all the joy of the moment. I hope you’re doing well with your weight. It looks like this is still a new situation for you. Best wishes in your continued recovery! 🙂 Oh…pig pills are a new one for me!

Pig Pills. They are capsules right out of Star Trek, the proper name is Creon. they contain thousands of little tiny bal made from the pancreas of pigs. By taking them immediately before eating, allows my pretend stomach, to extract he goodness from the food and send it to where it will do the most good. A job that my missing stomach used to do! 🙂
